Chandelier.
Over the years we have received many requests
from all over the world from customers desperate to have their
Murano chandelier repaired:

We understand your frustration, after all you
when you buy a Murano chandelier, often you get very attached to it.
This is certainly the case for our own chandelier that
hangs in our living room!
| Note from a
satisfied customer: -
Carl, Just to let you know, I got
the parts, put the chandelier together and it looks great!
Pieces are identical- shape, size, and fit with existing lamp.
If you have a homeowner who is hesitant to send money and wait
for custom parts from overseas, share my email (or email
address). This was reasonable and I appreciate the
professionalism you displayed. MANY THANKS, John Comerouski

Often the breakage occurs after a move, or
perhaps when the chandelier was being cleaned. Other times we have
requests to make parts for chandeliers that have been handed down,
inherited, or in one case, found (minus all the flowers and leaves)
in an attic!
To cater for this
unique demand, we now run a repair service to help you get that
chandelier looking it’s best again.

It may be only a small repair such as making a
copy of a leaf, or the project may be a little more substantial,
involving many parts to be made. Whatever size the repair we are
here to help:
Our 2 “Maestri” who make the parts, have been
blowing glass for 18 and 22 years respectively, so they know what
they are doing! They receive nothing but praise for what they make.
Some commissions are harder than others, for
example an opaline finish presents a greater challenge than clear
crystal, because some of the ingredients are now illegal to use
because of health and safety regulations! But having said that we
rarely get a commission we are unable to make.
Also, we don’t just do chandelier repairs. Often
we are asked to make Murano glass object repairs, so drop us an
email and we will do what we can to help.

How it works:
No two repairs are the same, but broadly
speaking here is the process:
Contact us by email, with -if at all possible- a picture of the
broken part, or a picture of a sister part to the broken part.
Our “Maestro” in Murano will asses the repair for
you , and we will get back to you with the cost of the repair.
In most cases, to make the new part, we will need
the old one posted in a safe package to our Italian office.
3 to 5 weeks later, we will send you your new
parts, (and the old!) back to you. It is as simple as that!
